Congratulations are in order!

I just got news that Buck proposed to Thea today! We could not be happier for them. This is just the beginning of such a fun, exciting time. Congratulations : )

This is what I came home to...

I swear, I have THE best friends (and coolest, nicest, most intelligent, most beautiful, etc) in the world! Today I came home to these amazingly unique gifts from Nadine. I was so surprised. She had found an antique hat and 2 plates in my favorite color (our wedding color)! There was also a super cool vintage necklace included that I cannot wait to wear. All of it was packaged in this cool box. The next gift basket included candy, a star for the top of my tree (thanks to Bennett since there was no topper or ornaments on my tree thanks to the kitty) and body scrub and salts that look yummy enough to eat...and Nadine made them herself! I am so lucky and greatly appreciate this thoughtful act. Thank you Nadia! Merry Christmas.

Cantera Christmas!

It was another wonderful Cantera Christmas! We had delicious food and great company. I am always super excited for my gifts from Jessica! I am so lucky that she knows me so well -- take a look at all of my goodies : ) I had to throw in a picture of my giraffe ornament from our girls night ornament exchange. One of my dreams is to go to Africa and go on a Safari. Jamie had brought this giraffe ornament back from Africa. We always laugh because when Jamie returned from Africa, she invited us over to catch up and look at her photos. I was her biggest fan as far as looking at all of the animal photos and Jess was falling asleep. Little did we know she had a little bun cooking in the oven : ) Emma got a Barbie Doctor set from us. Take a look at Dr. Barbie's work outfit...

DR Mode

DR mode = dirty rat mode. Dobbler does this little thing where he hugs and drools on me, usually one ear lays back and that is how I know he really loves me : )

NYC Day 4

Sunday, Erin and I started our day with a nippy 10K through Central Park! It was an awesome experience. We ended this day with my Aunt Liz who is a local : ) It was so great to see her.

NYC Day 3

The 3rd day of our trip, we did a lot of exploring and enjoyed checking out some of the amazing shops on 5th avenue. I think my favorite shop we visited was Henri Bendel. The displays were the coolest I have ever seen. We went to the Boom Boom Room which is a famous lounge that night. The views of the city were unlike anything I have ever seen. We also took time during the afternoon to stroll through Central Park.
