Undy 5000!

Kent and I ran the Undy 5000 today to support increasing awareness of colon cancer and the importance of early detection as well as research. It was really fun! Thank you for all of you who supported our fund raising efforts! We both exceeded our personal goals. I ran for Grandma Alberta (beat it), Grandma Norma (beat it), Grandpa Bill (beat it) and Dr. Chang who so sadly passed this year. So, spread the word that early detection is key and colon cancer does not deserve the title of 2nd most common killer *** It can be prevented / cured if caught early. Run along now and if it is time, go get your colonoscopy or tell a friend for family member to do so : )

One year down! And, we have LOVED every minute of it ; ) We spent the weekend in Flag with our children, Zen and Diablo! Kent saved a bottle of the wine we served at our wedding and surprised me! Jess welcomed us home with these beautiful flowers. Thank you for all of the AnniBOOsary wishes! We are so thankful.

Vegas was awesome!

Super Woman!

All I have to say is these legs were made for running and that is just what she did...Portland Marathon yesterday in 4:15! Rained on her the whole race. WOW! This is Edubs 2nd marathon and each time she runs a race she makes it seem so darn easy. I don't get it but she definitely does! Can't wait to run with you in NYC, perhaps you can carry me on your back? Seriously? : ) Big hug. We are really proud of you!

Viva Las Vegas!

Kent and I are outta here as of tomorrow morning. I have a nephrology conference in Vegas, at the Paris Hotel. We will be back in town on Monday night. Wednesday evening Kent and I went for a jog and ended up in the middle of a major storm : ) We were 1.5 miles away from home and got soaked!!! Kent just made some more of his bread. I swear it is the best bread I have ever had : ) Have a great weekend : )
