Welcome to our bedroom...

Per Traci's request, she wanted to see my bedroom these days...I recently hung some antique hats that Traci found for me and I have new bedding thanks to a wonderful wedding gift! I tried to capture some of my favorite things in my bedroom. Enjoy ; )
Zen's favorite place

Love this.

A piece of Buck's art from back in the day.

Love my Mac mascara and paint.

Can't live without Bag Balm for my lips.

Love notes from my Boo.

Too many purses?

Love the 2 little kids in bunny costumes...and my favorite pic from Jess and Matt's wedding.

Buck's little boy Kutter. His face is priceless.

Love the little details on my lamp.

Watch your face if you step into my space.

My Boo in his prime. He was a pretty darn good swimmer. And, some self help books. Always looking for ways to improve...; )

My glasses and a backup pair provided by Traci.

A sweet little antique plate from Traci. I love the strawberry.
Chipped to perfection.

Jayla, Kutter, Hayden and Case. You may notice a ballerina on her side..from one of my birthday cakes as a little girl. And, the famous cat tag that reads "Will you marry me?"

A pretty silk scarf from Traci.

Traci, Dad, myself before Church at the home we grew up in.

Love this little picture of my momma.

Three of my favorite belts. I love how skinny the pink one is. The rabbit and his eye really impress me.

Kent's Grandpa, Freeman, in front of U of A. Looks like Kent.

I love the details on the antique mirror to the left and the frame to the right.

Love this ring accented in tiffany blue. Traci found it for my wedding and it could not be more perfect. There is a silver ring resting in it..it is a ring my Dad gave my Mom when they were married.

Erin created this super cool little card to get us excited for our next Girls Trip! She is so talented.

This tiny little dog photo was in some of my Grandma Bruce's old photos. It is precious.

This picture perfectly captures my life as a middle child. Traci was always so sweet and helpful to Buck. I unfortunately have that look on my face in one too many pictures.

One of the things I loved about our engagement pics by Kimberly Bee was the watermelon patch. I think this little poof of green really brings out the watermelons.

The curtain.

The color of this hat is out of this world. I bet the lucky lady who wore it looked so classy.

The detail on this one is so amazing.

I love having them all above our closet.

New shelves. I plan to prop and overlap pictures. As you can tell, I have not finished this project yet.

My love.

Kent almost took the frame down lastnight as he is very scared it will fall on our heads and cut our heads open while we are sleeping.

Good-night!

Happy Birthday to my Little Brother Buck!

I guess he is not so little these days but I think it sounds funny to say little brother ; ) I am sad to say I did not get to see Buck in KS this year for Christmas but I hope to make a trip soon to his home in CO. I am sure he did not miss my Christmas gifts though...I learned the hard way that he does NOT like light blue turtlenecks! I am beyond proud of Buck and think he has grown into quite the strapping young man. He always makes me laugh; gets mad when I talk about my cats too much; is always up for a good time; has the most unique style; has a soft heart; likes chick flicks; and I am pretty sure everyone on the planet knows this one...he puts the life into my Mom and Dad's days with his phone calls.
I hope you and your horse enjoyed your special day... ; )

So we decided to pass on the fixer-upper and go with the move in ready...

Today we had the pleasure of getting a little private showing of the most beautiful house I have ever seen...You may recall that Buck and Thea mentioned they would not mind having the house as a Christmas gift ; ) This is the house that Dana and Jerry are selling, next door to their home. Kent and I pondered...it was a hard decision between this piece of property and the fixer upper you previously viewed on my blog...we came to a decision and asked if they would be willing to accept everything single thing we own as a down payment and the first month's rent ; ) Or, perhaps we could get about 10 families together and then work a deal...the options are endless. One of my favorite things was the master bathroom. It had a steam drawer for wash cloths and a coffee maker built into the wall. The claw foot tub that opened to the outdoors was just amazing. What a treat to look at such a thing. Enjoy the pics!
