A historic home that needs lots of TLC

One thing that Kent and I love to do is look at homes in the historic district. Our dream home that we have been looking at for a couple of years now recently sold... ; (
Kent found this home which has great potential, however, needs LOTS of serious work. It is still fun to explore and think of how we could fix it up. We would have Traci come out and do all of the interior design. Fortunate for us, the back window is always open so we crawl in and check things out. There is even a small basement in this house which is rare for homes in AZ. The back yard is large which would allow for an easy expansion. Most importantly, you will notice the back door had a little cat door ; ) We decided to take a walk down in this neighborhood this evening and when we walked up, another young couple was exiting the house : ( I was thinking in my mind, I wonder how much money they have or what they do for a living..this is our little diamond in the rough ; ) go away). We walked in the front door and the lady showing the home basically directed us out. No problem, we waited until she pulled off and let ourselves in.

Some of my favorites...

A few things that really caught my eye from my recent Anthropolgie visit...

The rabbit belt - I had to have.

The Heirloom Book is so unique, the size of a small child, also comes in a beautiful blue. This image does not do it justice.

Traci and I loved the rabbit head candle.

How fun would that necklace be with a fun holiday dress?
Life is good.
On October 17th, I married the man of my dreams. My wedding was perfect. The memories are still racing through my mind. I have now decided to join the world of blogging to share my thoughts and life with Kent. I have to say thank you to Jessica and Traci for being my blogging inspiration! Talk to you soon...
